Shift Type: Three 12-hour night shifts per week (36 hours/week), 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, rotating nights, every other weekend

Candidate Pay Rate: $62 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor adult med-surg and telemetry patients using best-practice clinical judgment
- Administer medications and IV therapies safely, including working with Alaris IV pumps
- Interpret telemetry and respond promptly to changes in cardiac rhythms
- Document care clearly and accurately in Epic to ensure continuity and quality
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to create patient-centered care plans
- Provide compassionate education and support to patients and families
- Support unit flow by assisting across float assignments when needed
Qualifications
- Active RN license eligible for submission in Nebraska (compact license accepted if applicable)
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience, telemetry or medical-surgical preferred
- BLS certification required at time of submission
- Comfortable with Epic charting and Alaris IV pump experience
- Valid driver's license required at submittal (radius rule applies)
- Professional attitude, strong teamwork skills, and cultural sensitivity (serves diverse populations including Korean-speaking patients)
- Willingness to complete orientation and pass the open-book skills exam with a 90% score
Knowledge & Skills
- Telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
- Medical-surgical nursing principles and post-surgical care
- IV therapy skills and familiarity with Alaris infusion pumps
- Proficient electronic documentation in Epic
- Strong patient assessment and clinical decision-making
- Ability to float to acute rehab and geriatric psychiatry units
- Effective communication and teamwork in a fast-paced acute care setting
