Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (Day: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM; Night: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), rotating across all days of the week including weekends (minimum 2 of 6 weekends), holidays as needed. Shift type: rotating (day/night)

Candidate Pay Rate: $62 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care across med-surg, telemetry, and pediatric populations
• Monitor and interpret cardiac and telemetry rhythms to detect patient changes early
• Titrate IV drips safely and per protocol, including insulin, heparin, and vasoactives
• Manage ventilator and BiPAP support and collaborate with respiratory therapy on care plans
• Administer blood products and other complex therapies while maintaining accurate documentation
• Serve as a patient advocate and communicate effectively with families and interdisciplinary team members
• Respond to patient deterioration and implement appropriate interventions within scope of practice

Qualifications

• Current RN license eligible for submission in North Dakota
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience with MedSurg, Telemetry, or Pediatrics
• Comfortable titrating drips and interpreting monitors independently
• Experience with ventilator/BiPAP management and pediatric through geriatric patient populations
• Travel nursing experience preferred but not required
• Willingness to work rotating 12-hour shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Nursing Diploma acceptable; BSN preferred
• Active RN license required

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in patient monitoring and telemetry interpretation
• Skilled with IV medication administration and drip titration
• Competent in ventilator and BiPAP care, heated high flow, and bubble CPAP
• Familiarity with Meditech charting system or willingness to learn quickly
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and prioritization skills
• Ability to work effectively with a nursing coordinator and interdisciplinary team
