Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (Day: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM; Night: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), rotating coverage across all days of the week including weekends; guaranteed 36 hours per week; every-other-week night rotations and weekend rotation with core staff (float coverage to sister facility in Mesa as needed)

Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality patient care on an MS/Telemetry unit, including post-surgical recovery and telemetry monitoring
- Recognize and respond to dysrhythmias promptly and accurately to keep patients safe
- Perform electronic charting in CERNER with clear, timely documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (RT, pharmacy, IV team support as available) to coordinate patient care
- Participate in orientation, a pass/fail Sim Lab on Day 1, and competency exams as required
- Float to the sister facility in Mesa when needed, maintaining continuity and standards of care
- Work weekends and holiday rotations as scheduled to support unit coverage
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for Arizona submission
- Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience (clinical MS/Telemetry experience preferred)
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Valid driver’s license at time of submittal
- Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam (80% passing threshold) within two attempts prior to contract signing
- Comfortable working 12-hour shifts and floating between nearby facilities
Education
- Active RN license (ADN/diploma or BSN acceptable) — BSN not required
- 12 hours of orientation; required ACLS & BLS certifications
Knowledge & Skills
- Telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia recognition
- Electronic charting experience with CERNER
- Strong post-surgical and medical-surgical nursing skills
- Effective communication and teamwork in a fast-paced acute care setting
- Prior floating or float-pool experience is a plus
- Ability to maintain composure and clinical judgment during emergencies
