Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday (with weekends as needed), typical day shifts 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM with variable start times between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM; occasional 10-hour shifts 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM; rotating day shifts including weekend coverage and on-call as needed
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $62 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality general radiography exams and fluoroscopic procedures with patient-centered care
- Operate C-arm, O-arm, portables and other OR imaging equipment safely and efficiently
- Provide intraoperative imaging support across up to 34 OR rooms and in interventional settings
- Manage portable x-ray requests across inpatient and outpatient areas and ensure timely image acquisition
- Document studies accurately in Cerner PowerChart, GE Centricity, RIS and PACS (Philips IntelliSpace)
- Rotate across clinic, ER, CCU, outpatient ortho, and general radiology areas while maintaining consistent standards
- Maintain radiation safety practices, proper patient positioning and image quality for diagnostic confidence
- Collaborate with radiologists, surgeons and nursing staff to support patient care and procedure flow
Qualifications
- ARRT certification required
- BLS certification required
- Washington state radiologic technologist license required at time of submittal
- Minimum 1 year of radiologic technologist experience; traveler must be able to cover all radiology areas
- Experience with fluoroscopy and OR imaging, including C-arm and O-arm operation
- ER experience preferred
- Ability to float between general radiography, fluoro, OR, portables and outpatient clinics
- Agency must provide Rad Badge for traveler
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient with Cerner PowerChart, GE Centricity, RIS and Philips IntelliSpace PACS
- Skilled in DR and CR workflows and direct digital imaging
- Strong patient positioning and image acquisition techniques
- Experience with Ziehm, GE/OEC C-arms and Siemens O-arm
- Comfortable performing portable x-rays and managing high daily volume
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills in acute care and OR settings
- Knowledge of radiation safety, sterile technique in the OR and surgical workflow
