Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Evenings, rotating 12-hour shifts: 12:00 PM - 12:30 AM; scheduled to include every Thursday-Friday and every other weekend (EOW). May include 8- and 10-hour shifts on occasion; rotating coverage and call as needed.
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform CT and fluoroscopic imaging with accuracy and patient-centered care
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment (Philips iPatient, Big Bore, C-arm) safely and per protocol
- Collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams in OR, ER, inpatient and outpatient settings
- Ensure proper patient identification, prep, positioning, and shielding for all procedures
- Document imaging procedures in Cerner and maintain clear, timely charting
- Respond to trauma and urgent imaging needs with calm, efficient action
- Provide on-call and holiday coverage when scheduled, supporting continuity of care
Qualifications
- ARRT (Certified Radiologic Technologist) required
- Fluoroscopy credential and BLS required through the state of California
- Rad Tech I or Rad Tech II with CT experience (Rad Tech II must have CT experience)
- Minimum 2 years of radiologic technologist experience (will consider first-time travelers)
- Comfortable working in Level II trauma, OR and ER environments
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced department and can work independently
Education
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program (Associate or Certificate)
- ARRT certification (required)
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in CT imaging and fluoroscopy techniques
- Experience with Cerner charting system
- Familiarity with Philips iPatient platforms (including Big Bore 16/64)
- Comfortable using C-arm in the OR
- Strong patient positioning, radiation safety and image quality skills
- Ability to prioritize in high-acuity or trauma situations and communicate effectively
