Shift Type: Nights, 10-hour shifts — start times: 3:00 AM - 1:00 PM, 5:00 AM - 3:00 PM, or 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM; every other weekend (EOW); Guaranteed 40 hours per week

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic imaging using Carestream and Canon equipment
- Operate portable radiography units and C-arm imaging in the OR to support surgical teams
- Ensure patient safety and comfort while adhering to radiation safety protocols
- Accurately document procedures in the charting system (Cerner) and maintain clear communication with clinicians
- Triage imaging needs in the ER and respond quickly during trauma and acute cases
- Collaborate with the radiology team as a dependable First to Float when unit needs shift
Qualifications
- ARRT (R) certification required
- California Radiologic Technologist License required
- Valid BLS certification required
- Fluoro permit required
- Minimum 2 years of radiology experience with ER, OR (C-arm) and portable radiography experience
- Provide 2 supervisor references at submittal: one within 12 months and one within 3 years
- Candidates must not have been directly employed by CommonSpirit (including CHI or Dignity) within the past year; PRN employment through outside firms is acceptable
Education
- ARRT (R) certification and California Radiologic Technologist License required
- BSN not required
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient with Carestream and Canon imaging systems
- Comfortable using C-arm for intraoperative imaging and portable units in emergent settings
- Familiarity with Cerner for charting and documentation
- Experience working in Trauma Level II and acute care environments
- Strong patient care skills, infection control, and radiation safety practices
- Adaptable team player who can float between assignments and prioritize under pressure
