Shift Type: Variable Mon-Fri schedule, 4x10-hour day shifts per week. Start times are 6:30 AM, 9:00 AM, or 11:00 AM with corresponding end times 4:30 PM, 7:00 PM, or 9:00 PM. Weeknight/weekend on-call: 1 call per 4-week schedule; weekday call runs from the end of shift until 7:00 AM the next morning. Weekend call is a 24-hour rotation from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM. Day shift

Roles & Responsibilities

• Scrub and assist during a wide range of complex surgical procedures across 16 service lines, including GYN, Urology, ENT, Vascular, Neuro, Cardiothoracic, Orthopedics and transplant cases
• Operate and support robotic-assisted cases using the DaVinci Xi platform for Gyn, Uro and General surgery
• Maintain strict sterile technique and ensure surgical instruments and rooms are prepared and safe
• Anticipate surgeon needs, pass instruments efficiently, and support teamwork in high-volume OR suites
• Document perioperative care accurately in Cerner and assist with unit-specific charting
• Participate in departmental orientation and training, and support teaching of less-experienced staff when needed
• Respond to on-call notifications promptly (30-minute response expectation) and provide reliable coverage during rotations

Qualifications

• WA State license required at time of submittal (no pending licenses will be reviewed)
• CST — registration with Washington State required (national CST not required)
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of scrubbing experience
• Proven experience with ENT cases including FESS, septoplasty, cochlear implant, tympanoplasty, and laryngoscopy, plus soft tissue thyroid/parathyroid
• DaVinci Xi robotic experience required (Gyn, Uro, General)
• Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program
• Willingness to work call rotations and variable start times

Education

• Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program
• CST registration with Washington State (state registration required)
• BLS certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Thorough knowledge of sterile technique and operating room procedures
• Familiarity with a broad case mix including complex and high-acuity surgeries
• Hands-on experience with DaVinci Xi robotic systems
• Proficient with Cerner charting and electronic documentation
• Strong communication and teamwork skills in fast-paced OR environments
• Ability to respond to call within 30 minutes and manage extended or complex cases
