Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 12:30 PM (Day shift); Weekend call required Saturday-Sunday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Call)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of nuclear medicine imaging studies including VQ, HIDA, bone, renal, gastric emptying, thyroid and pulmonary scans
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals safely and document doses with accuracy
- Operate Siemens Symbia imaging equipment to acquire high-quality diagnostic images
- Provide compassionate patient care in an acute hospital setting, preparing patients and explaining procedures
- Document procedures, findings and patient information in Cerner charting system
- Support sentinel node injections and handle Lexiscan studies as needed
- Participate in weekend call coverage and collaborate with the clinical team to ensure continuity of care
Qualifications
- Current Nuclear Medicine License required to submit
- ARRT (N) certification required (CT-NMTCB accepted as alternative)
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 3 years of nuclear medicine experience, hospital/acute care experience required
- Hands-on experience with Siemens Symbia equipment
- Charting experience in Cerner preferred
- Must not be a first-time traveler; prior travel/contract experience required
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficiency with nuclear medicine modalities: VQ, HIDA, bone, renal, gastric emptying, thyroid, pulmonary
- Radiopharmaceutical handling and administration
- Sentinel node injection technique and lymphatic imaging knowledge
- Familiarity with Lexiscan stress protocols
- Strong patient care skills in an acute hospital environment
- Competence using Siemens Symbia systems and Cerner electronic charting
