Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM (Day); Alternate schedule noted: Friday-Tuesday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Day). Weekends: 2 weekends per 4 weeks. No on-call required.
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures accurately and compassionately to support patient care
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals following safety and protocol guidelines
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring high-quality images for physician interpretation
- Adhere to radiation safety standards and maintain proper documentation
- Document procedures and patient information in Cerner to ensure clear patient records
- Collaborate with the allied care team to coordinate patient flow and optimize outcomes
- Participate in orientation and continuing education to maintain clinical competency
Qualifications
- Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) — verification required
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- Minimum 2 years of nuclear medicine technologist experience
- Familiarity with Cerner or similar electronic charting systems
- Ability to work scheduled day shifts and occasional assigned weekends (2/4 weeks)
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of nuclear medicine procedures and radiopharmaceutical handling
- Understanding of radiation safety and quality assurance practices
- Proficient charting and documentation skills in Cerner
- Excellent patient care, communication, and teamwork skills
- Attention to detail and ability to follow protocol-driven workflows
