Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform MRI exams following established protocols to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Operate Toshiba/Cannon MRI equipment with confidence and technical precision
• Ensure patient safety and comfort by adhering to MRI safety guidelines and providing clear communication
• Collaborate with radiologists and the care team to support timely and accurate diagnoses
• Maintain accurate electronic charting in Cerner and complete required documentation
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond promptly to urgent imaging needs

Qualifications

• ARRT (MR) certification required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years MRI experience, with 2+ years Toshiba/Cannon experience
• 2 to 4 years of hospital experience preferred
• ARMRIT preferred but not required
• Comfortable with on-call responsibilities and occasional weekend rotation
• Cerner experience is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency with Toshiba/Cannon MRI systems
• Strong knowledge of MRI safety and patient screening
• Skilled in patient positioning and protocol selection for MRI exams
• Experience with Cerner electronic charting and documentation
• Good patient communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to manage time effectively in a busy acute care setting
