Shift Type: Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (12-hour night shifts), scheduled in 6-week blocks (EOW pattern noted). Expect 6–9 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule; holiday rotation possible. Shift type: night

Candidate Pay Rate: $75 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, evidence-based care for antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum patients
- Monitor fetal status using electronic fetal monitoring and intervene appropriately
- Circulate and recover patients for C-sections, coordinating with surgical and anesthesia teams
- Titrate IV medications such as Pitocin and magnesium per protocol and monitor patient response
- Perform triage assessments to prioritize care and escalate when needed
- Assist with neonatal resuscitation and collaborate with the newborn care team
- Document care accurately and efficiently in Epic to ensure continuity and patient safety
- Precept and orient as assigned; contribute to a positive unit culture and teamwork
Qualifications
- Active RN license (able to submit license within 60-mile radius requirements)
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience; must have at least 1 year of LDRP experience within the last 3 years
- Required certifications: BLS (AHA), AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring (or C-EFM), NRP
- Comfortable with antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum care and triage
- Experience circulating and recovering C-sections and titrating drips (Pitocin, magnesium)
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- Prior travel experience is a plus
Education
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Diploma in Nursing required; BSN not required
Knowledge & Skills
- Labor & Delivery best practices and AWHONN guidelines
- Electronic fetal monitoring and interpretation
- Neonatal resuscitation protocols
- Perioperative support for C-sections (circulating/recovering)
- IV medication titration and monitoring
- Triage assessment and prioritization
- Accurate clinical charting in Epic
