Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM (Day); 4x10s schedule with rotational call (10-13 days/month, includes some weekends)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in the Interventional Radiology suite during 10-hour day shifts
- Prepare patients for diagnostic and interventional procedures including thrombectomies, carotid stents, and embolectomies
- Start IVs, assist with patient transport, and support radiology workflow as needed
- Collaborate with Neuro IR techs, charge nurse, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, efficient procedures
- Chart accurately in EPIC and document interventions, assessments, and patient responses
- Participate in orientation, skills validation and open-book competency exam to maintain high standards
- Float within Radiology when required, demonstrating flexibility and a patient-first attitude
Qualifications
- Current RN license eligible for submission (must provide at time of submittal)
- Minimum 2 years' experience in Interventional Radiology, ICU, or ER (neuro experience preferred)
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
- PALS preferred — nice to have if working pediatric or hybrid cases
- Valid driver’s license (used to confirm radius eligibility)
- Ability to pass department orientation and skills exam (90% required on the open-book test)
Education
- Active RN license (required)
- Associate Degree or Diploma in Nursing accepted; BSN not required
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient with EPIC charting and documentation
- Familiarity with Siemens - Artis Icono imaging equipment
- Strong IV starts and vascular access skills
- Experience supporting thrombectomy, carotid stent, embolectomy procedures
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient advocacy skills
- Comfortable floating across radiology areas and adapting to varied case types
