Shift Type: 4 days/week (schedule varies, supervisor-approved), 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM (Day shift); guaranteed 40 hours/week; includes rotating on-call coverage with nights and weekends and a 30-minute response expectation

Roles & Responsibilities
- Circulate during intra-procedural cases — anticipate needs and keep the suite running smoothly
- Administer medications and assist with conscious sedation safely and per protocol
- Support cardiac and interventional radiology procedures including STEMI responses and IABP stabilization
- Float across three campuses (Immanuel, Lakeside, Mercy CB) to provide consistent, high-quality care where it’s needed
- Respond to emergent on-call activations with professionalism and a 30-minute response expectation from your home campus
- Document procedures accurately in EPIC and Apollo cardiac charting systems
- Maintain radiation safety practices — wear and manage the provided radiation badge
- Collaborate with the team and supervisor to adhere to unit standards, dress code, and patient safety policies
Qualifications
- RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) via CCI required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Valid driver's license required at submittal (used to confirm radius rule eligibility)
- Minimum experience noted on the posting: 2 years (listing also indicates client preference for >3 years hospital Cardiac Cath/IR experience)
- Comfort working in a fast-paced acute care cath lab/IR environment with 3 suites and 4–5 cases/day
- Willingness to float between campuses, take on on-call duties, and complete required orientation
Education
- RCIS certification required (CCI)
- BLS and ACLS required
- No BSN required; clinical/technical training and cath/IR experience preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled with Cardiac Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology procedures and workflow
- Proficient with EPIC (EpicCare) and Apollo cardiac charting
- Familiarity with Siemens imaging equipment
- Strong medication administration and intra-procedural circulating skills
- Radiation safety knowledge and compliance with badge use
- STEMI preparedness and basic mechanical support familiarity (IABP support)
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and ability to work under emergency conditions
