Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 12-hour nights; weekends and holidays as needed; schedule set by director (guaranteed 36 hours/week)

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality ICU care for critically ill adults, managing complex cases like DKA, sepsis, respiratory failure and cardiac rhythm control
- Titrate vasoactive drips and manage arterial lines and CVP monitoring safely and accurately
- Manage ventilator support and troubleshoot respiratory equipment from nasal cannula to full ventilator support
- Read and interpret telemetry/EKG strips and make timely clinical decisions
- Document patient care in Meditech and communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary team
- Serve as a dependable clinical resource during nights, supporting patient safety and team cohesion
- Complete unit-specific orientation (three 12-hour shifts) and maintain required certifications
Qualifications
- Active RN license in good standing (able to submit license)
- Minimum 1 year of ICU experience required
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS
- TNCC or TCAR certification or demonstrated trauma care experience
- Able to pass facility fit testing (3M Aura 1860 or 1870+), note facial hair may require Portacount testing
- Ability to titrate drips, manage ventilators, and independently interpret telemetry
Education
- Active RN license required; BSN not required
Knowledge & Skills
- ICU patient care and critical thinking for high-acuity patients
- Hemodynamic monitoring and arterial line/CVP management
- Ventilator management and respiratory troubleshooting
- Drip titration and familiarity with common ICU vasoactive medications
- Telemetry/EKG interpretation and rhythm recognition
- Proficiency with Meditech charting system
- Strong teamwork, coachability, and motivation to maintain safe practice
