Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour night shifts, 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM (NOC); every-other-weekend required; minimum of 2 holidays during the contract; guaranteed 36 hours per week

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered critical care to adults in a 33-bed ICU setting
- Continuously monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry/ECG strips (GE monitors) and document findings
- Safely titrate and manage drips including cardiac drips, insulin and sedation per unit protocols
- Troubleshoot respiratory support from nasal cannula up to ventilators and work with RTs as needed
- Accurately document patient care in EPIC and complete unit-specific charting requirements
- Collaborate with physicians, RTs, CNAs and the multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
- Participate in required orientation, complete competency testing (open-book), and maintain unit policies
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for submission
- Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications and NIHSS required
- Proven experience with telemetry (GE monitors), ECG interpretation and drip titration
- Familiarity with EPIC charting and ventilator troubleshooting
- Valid driver's license at time of submittal (radius rule applies)
- Willingness to comply with facility policies (for example, no artificial nails) and pass orientation competencies (90% pass required)
Education
- Active RN license required
- BSN preferred but not required
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong cardiac monitoring and ECG interpretation skills
- Competence in titrating vasoactive drips and managing insulin and sedation protocols
- Comfort troubleshooting vents, CPAP/BiPAP and high-flow setups
- Experience with EPIC electronic charting and documentation workflows
- Ability to manage 1:2-3 adult ICU patient ratios and adapt when floating to PCU/MedSurg
- Clinical knowledge in trauma, cardiac, stroke, sepsis and respiratory distress care
