Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic exams with precision and compassion
• Position patients and operate imaging equipment while ensuring radiation safety
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams to deliver timely, high-quality imaging
• Maintain accurate patient records and image documentation in PACS/EHR systems
• Provide patient education and reassurance before, during, and after procedures
• Adhere to infection control protocols and departmental policies at all times
• Troubleshoot basic equipment issues and report maintenance needs promptly
• Contribute to a positive workplace culture by mentoring colleagues and sharing best practices

Qualifications

• Certified Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or registry-eligible
• State Radiologic Technologist license or ability to obtain California licensure
• Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification
• 1+ year of radiography experience preferred, new grads encouraged to apply
• Strong patient care, communication, and teamwork skills
• Ability to stand, lift, and assist patients as required by clinical duties

Education

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or completion of an accredited radiography program

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency with radiographic equipment and exposure techniques
• Familiarity with PACS and electronic health record systems
• Solid understanding of radiation safety and ALARA principles
• Accurate patient identification, positioning, and clinical documentation
• Ability to prioritize workload and work efficiently in a busy clinical environment
• Professional bedside manner and effective communication with diverse patients
