Shift Type: Evening shifts, 5:00 PM - 1:30 AM, 8-hour shifts; rotating schedule including every other weekend (EOW); 40 hours/week guaranteed

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality CT exams (strokes, trauma, heads, chest/abdomen/pelvis) with attention to image quality and patient safety
- Operate and troubleshoot Siemens 128-slice CT scanners and associated imaging equipment
- Provide X-ray/DR imaging support including portables, DR room studies, and OEC c-arm cases
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and tech leads to expedite emergent and inpatient studies
- Document exams accurately in Cerner EMR and archive images in Merge PACS
- Float between CT and general radiography as needed to meet department demand
- Maintain required safety protocols, LA Fire Life Safety requirements, and fluoroscopy compliance
- Contribute to a fast-paced team handling high volumes (approx. 100 exams/day)
Qualifications
- ARRT (CT) certification required
- ARRT (X-ray) certification required
- California Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist license required
- Fluoroscopy certification required
- BLS (Basic Life Support) required
- LA City Fire & Safety certification (or equivalent) required
- 1+ year CT experience required; ER/hospital experience required; trauma center experience a plus
- Comfortable floating between CT and X-ray and working in a high-volume acute care setting
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient with Merge PACS for image archiving and retrieval
- Experience with Cerner EMR for charting and order workflow
- Hands-on experience with Siemens 128-slice CT scanners
- Familiarity with Carestream portables/DR and OEC c-arm systems
- Strong patient positioning, radiation safety, and contrast/fluoroscopy practices
- Ability to prioritize emergent studies and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Comfort working evenings and providing weekend coverage (EOW)
