Shift Type: Friday-Sunday, 10:30 AM - 11:00 PM (Day/Evening weekend schedule; 12-hour shifts, occasional call with 45-minute response time)

Candidate Pay Rate: $76 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality CT exams for outpatients, inpatients and emergency department patients, including stroke code studies
- Operate and troubleshoot Toshiba and GE CT scanners while following departmental protocols
- Start IVs when required and manage contrast administration safely and effectively
- Use Epic for charting and McKesson PACS for image workflow and archiving
- Prioritize patient safety and radiation protection; ensure radiation badge is worn and maintained
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses and ED teams to deliver timely imaging for urgent cases
- Document exams thoroughly and contribute to quality improvement efforts in the CT department
- Provide compassionate patient care and clear communication to patients and families
Qualifications
- ARRT(CT) certification required; ARRT(R) recognized
- Minimum 2 years of CT technologist experience
- BLS (AHA) certification required
- Experience with Epic EMR and McKesson PACS preferred/required
- Comfortable starting IVs and managing contrast-enhanced studies
- Radiation badge required prior to starting the travel assignment
- Able to meet occasional on-call expectations and weekend-focused schedule
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of CT imaging protocols and stroke code CT workflows
- Proficient with PACS workflow (McKesson) and image management
- Comfortable using Epic for inpatient/outpatient documentation
- Familiarity with Toshiba and GE CT equipment and basic troubleshooting
- Excellent patient care, communication and emergency response skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy acute care setting
