Shift Type: Rotating day and night shifts (8-, 10- or 12-hour rotations) with rotating call; call window 12:01 AM - 6:00 AM; every 3rd weekend and rotating holidays. Start times vary by schedule (day/night rotate).

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform CT and CT Angiography exams (head, neck, extremities, abdomen, pelvis, spine, facial/sinus) with precision and patient-centered care
• Operate CT equipment (Siemens) and Bracco power injector safely and effectively
• Acquire high-quality diagnostic images and ensure accurate image transfer to PACS (Meditech)
• Collaborate with providers and the radiology team to accommodate add-on outpatient exams and urgent needs
• Cross-train and support Radiology or MRI areas as needed, maintaining flexibility across modalities
• Maintain patient safety and comfort while following departmental protocols, call procedures and response-time expectations
• Document studies and chart accurately in Meditech and communicate findings as required

Qualifications

• ARRT (CT) certification required
• BLS certification required
• Active North Dakota medical/radiology license required (ND Lic)
• Minimum 2 years of CT experience with demonstrated CTA experience (must have CTA experience)
• Comfortable working autonomously in a small critical access hospital environment
• Previous travel experience preferred but not required
• Able to respond to call within 20 minutes and participate in rotating call/holiday coverage

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in Computed Tomography (CT) and CT Angiography (CTA)
• Strong competency in diagnostic imaging and image acquisition best practices
• Experience with PACS/EMR workflows, specifically Meditech
• Familiarity with Siemens CT scanners, Philips MRI, Digirad NM and Philips ultrasound equipment
• Comfortable using Bracco power injector and portable imaging equipment
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced yet occasionally slow environment and work well with a small team
