Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT and X-ray exams using Siemens 64- and 128-slice scanners and portable units to support accurate diagnosis
• Operate fluoroscopy and C-arm equipment safely while following radiation safety protocols and wearing appropriate monitoring badges
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care including patient positioning, preparation and clear communication throughout procedures
• Document procedures and patient information accurately in Cerner to ensure continuity of care
• Respond to portable CXR and imaging requests across the hospital as needed, partnering with patient transport when required
• Collaborate closely with onsite radiologists, teleradiology services and multidisciplinary teams to prioritize urgent studies
• Maintain equipment and supplies, report issues promptly and support a positive, team-focused work environment

Qualifications

• Certified CT Technologist - ARRT (CT) verification required
• Certified Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R) verification required
• BLS certification required
• California CRT with Fluoroscopy permit required
• Minimum 2 years of imaging experience as listed on the posting; posting also references 3-5 years experience preferred for Radiology roles
• Ability to work well with others and promote a positive patient experience

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on experience with Siemens 64-slice and Siemens 128 CT scanners
• Comfortable operating Carestream and GE portable X-ray units and OEC C-arms
• Familiarity with Philips radiography and R/F systems
• Proficient with Cerner electronic medical record charting
• Skilled at portable CXR procedures and patient transport coordination
• Strong teamwork, communication and customer service skills in a fast-paced acute care setting
