Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Multiple set shifts, day and night, rotating: Day shifts (Monday-Friday) examples include 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM, and 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM; 12-hour day options include 8:00 AM - 8:30 PM or 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM depending on day; Night options include 12-hour nights 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM and 4x10s 9:00 PM - 7:00 AM. Rotating schedule includes weekends and holiday coverage based on assigned shift.
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $76 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality CT imaging exams across a wide range of studies including chest, abdomen/pelvis, coronary scans and TAVR planning
- Operate GE CT scanners and department-specific equipment with attention to image quality and patient safety
- Position patients accurately and apply radiation safety principles including proper use of radiation badge
- Start IVs as required for contrast-enhanced studies, monitoring patients for adverse reactions
- Document procedures and manage images using GE Centricity, Philips PACS and Cerner EMR systems
- Coordinate with radiologists, lead techs and interdisciplinary teams to ensure efficient workflow and excellent patient care
- Maintain equipment, follow department protocols and participate in orientation and training when assigned
Qualifications
- Washington state RT license required at time of submittal
- ARRT (CT) and ARRT (R) verification required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Must have prior experience with GE CT scanners
- Rad Badge (radiation monitor) required prior to starting assignment
- Minimum 1 year of CT technologist experience (department lists 1 year)
- Ability to float to nearby Bellevue location if needed
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficiency with GE Centricity, Philips PACS and Cerner EMR
- Strong patient positioning and IV insertion skills
- Familiarity with CT protocols including advanced studies such as colonography and coronary/TAVR planning
- Radiation safety practices and monitoring
- Efficient time and exam management in a high-volume acute care setting
- Ability to collaborate with radiologists and multidisciplinary teams
