Shift Type: Rotating day and night shifts (8-, 10- or 12-hour options) with rotating call; guaranteed 40 hours/week; rotating weekends (every 3rd weekend) and rotating holidays; call rotation nights/weekends/holidays — call window 12:01 AM - 6:00 AM; department staffed until midnight

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT and CTA studies (head, neck, extremities, abdomen, pelvis, spine, facial/sinus) with attention to diagnostic detail
• Operate and maintain Siemens CT equipment and related imaging devices safely and effectively
• Follow protocols for contrast administration and use of Bracco power injector for CTA studies
• Collaborate with providers and colleagues to accept add-on outpatient exams and prioritize patient care
• Provide excellent patient communication and positioning to ensure optimal image quality and patient comfort
• Respond to call assignments within the required response time and support the department during nights/weekends/holidays
• Cross-train into Radiology or MRI as needed to provide flexible departmental coverage

Qualifications

• ARRT (CT) certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• Active North Dakota (ND) radiologic technologist license required
• Minimum 2 years of CT experience with required CTA experience
• Travel experience preferred but not required
• Ability to respond to call within the department's expected timeframe (20-minute response expectation)
• Comfort working autonomously in a critical access hospital setting and willingness to cross-train

Education

• Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program (Associate degree or equivalent) and certification as a CT technologist (ARRT-CT)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong experience with CT imaging and CTA protocols
• Familiarity with Siemens CT and Siemens X-ray equipment
• Experience using Meditech EMR and PACS workflows
• Knowledge of MRI, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine fundamentals (cross-training helpful)
• Experience with Bracco power injector and contrast administration best practices
• Good communication, teamwork, adaptability and patient-centered bedside manner
