Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating day and night shifts, includes weekend coverage. Day shift examples: Mon-Fri 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM; 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM; 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM; 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM. 12-hour day rotations also used: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM or 8:00 AM - 8:30 PM. Night options: 12-hour nights 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM or 4x10s 9:00 PM - 7:00 AM. Common schedule note: Monday-Thursday 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM; rotating coverage and weekend/holiday rotation apply.

Candidate Pay Rate: $76 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality CT exams across a full spectrum of studies, from routine chest/abdomen/pelvis to advanced procedures like coronary CT and TAVR planning
- Operate and optimize GE CT scanners to ensure excellent image quality and patient safety
- Start IVs and manage contrast administration with skill and attention to patient comfort
- Use PACS and EMR systems (Philips PACS, GE Centricity, Cerner) for image capture, reporting workflow and documentation
- Follow radiation safety protocols and maintain a current Rad Badge prior to starting the assignment
- Collaborate with radiologists, lead techs and multidisciplinary teams in ER, CCU and outpatient settings
- Float between scanners and potentially to the Bellevue location as needed, adapting to unit needs and schedules
- Participate in orientation and work closely with preceptors during the first week to ensure safe, efficient care
Qualifications
- ARRT (CT) certification required
- ARRT (R) or Certified Radiologic Technologist verification required
- Washington state RT license required at time of submittal
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Rad Badge required prior to starting assignment
- Minimum 1 year of CT experience with demonstrated competence on GE CT scanners
- Comfortable with IV insertion/contrast starts and advanced CT protocols
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends and occasional Bellevue coverage
Education
- Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program (Associate degree or certificate preferred)
- ARRT (CT) verification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficiency with GE CT scanners and GE-specific workflows
- Familiarity with GE Centricity, Philips PACS and Cerner EMR
- Strong understanding of CT imaging protocols, patient positioning and dose optimization
- Experience with advanced CT studies: TAVR planning, coronary CT, pelvis colonography
- Excellent patient communication and triage skills in acute care settings
- Solid radiation safety practices and monitoring
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, 24/7 imaging environment
