Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT imaging exams using Siemens Edge 128 and Definition 128
• Operate portable X-ray and Carestream equipment as needed and float between CT and X-Ray
• Assist with fluoroscopy procedures according to credentialing and permit requirements
• Manage high patient volume efficiently and compassionately (CT sees about 110-130 patients/day)
• Document imaging and patient care accurately in Cerner
• Maintain patient safety and basic life support standards while providing excellent patient care
• Collaborate with unit staff to ensure smooth workflow and timely reporting

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant technologist experience
• BLS certification required
• ARRT Certified Radiologic Technologist (R) and ARRT Certified CT Technologist (CT) required
• Fluoroscopy permit required
• California Radiologic Technologist license required
• Two supervisor references required at submittal: one within the past 12 months and one within the past 3 years
• Candidates must not have been directly employed by CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity within the past year; PRN through outside firms is acceptable
• Willingness to work varied 10-hour night shifts and float between CT and X-Ray

Knowledge & Skills

• Computed Tomography (CT) techniques and protocols
• Radiography and portable X-ray operation
• Fluoroscopy procedures and safety
• Experience with Siemens Edge 128 and Siemens Definition 128 scanners
• Familiarity with Carestream imaging systems
• Electronic charting in Cerner
• Ability to manage high patient throughput while maintaining quality and safety
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
