Shift Type: Nights, 12-hour shifts, 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, straight nights with weekend rotation (Night)

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality critical care to ICU patients during night shifts
- Assess and monitor patient status, respond promptly to changes, and implement interventions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to create and update patient care plans
- Operate and manage advanced cardiorespiratory support equipment, including ventilators and monitors
- Administer medications and titrate drips safely following protocols and physician orders
- Document patient care accurately and timely in the electronic medical record
- Support unit throughput by assisting with transfers, admissions, and safe patient handoffs
- Float to Med/Surg or ED as needed, maintaining flexibility and a team-first attitude
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
- Minimum 2 years of critical care or ICU nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS required
- NCI or CPI required
- PALS and TNCC preferred (nice-to-have)
- Ability to work straight nights with weekend rotation
- Comfortable floating to Med/Surg, ED, or other nursing departments based on census
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong critical care assessment and prioritization skills
- Experience with ventilator management and advanced hemodynamic monitoring
- Proficient in IV medication administration and vasoactive drips
- Familiarity with telemetry and cardiac rhythm interpretation
- Clear, compassionate communication with patients, families, and care teams
- Efficient electronic medical record (EMR) documentation skills
- Ability to adapt to changing patient volumes and float assignments
