Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic radiographic exams with accuracy and compassion
- Operate portable and fixed X-ray equipment safely and efficiently
- Collaborate closely with ED/Trauma and OR teams to support urgent care
- Ensure high-quality images through proper patient positioning and technique
- Document exams and maintain records in Cerner and PACS systems
- Follow radiation safety protocols and maintain infection control standards
- Communicate clearly with patients and clinical teams to improve outcomes
Qualifications
- ARRT certification required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years' experience in diagnostic radiology/X-ray
- Arizona radiology license preferred (prefer license in hand)
- Experience with ED/Trauma, portable X-rays, and OR imaging highly desired
- Comfortable charting in Cerner
Knowledge & Skills
- Diagnostic imaging and X-ray techniques
- Portable radiography procedures and safety
- Trauma and OR imaging workflows
- Patient positioning and radiation safety best practices
- Familiarity with Cerner and PACS for image documentation
- Strong communication and teamwork in fast-paced acute settings
