Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform all CT and X-ray exams accurately and efficiently to support patient diagnosis and care
• Operate and maintain CT equipment (GE Tempo, GE Maxima CT, AMX) and ensure image quality
• Execute CT post-processing and advanced stroke protocols to expedite critical care
• Document exams in Meditech and GE Centricity PACS with clear, professional notes
• Provide compassionate, professional patient interactions that prioritize safety and comfort
• Collaborate with ED staff and unit team members to maintain smooth, timely patient flow
• Adhere to unit-specific policies and required uniform (black scrubs) while representing the department

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) certification required (CT modality preferred)
• CPR certification required
• 2 years of relevant radiologic/CT experience preferred (hiring profile notes at least 1 year preferred)
• Advanced skills in CT for stroke patients (experience with stroke protocols and rapid imaging workflow)
• Comfortable using Meditech, GE Centricity PACS, and CT post-processing tools
• Ability to work independently as 1 tech per shift in a freestanding ED setting

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in CT imaging and radiography (X-Ray)
• CT post-processing expertise and experience with stroke imaging protocols
• Familiarity with Meditech and GE Centricity PACS documentation systems
• Hands-on experience with GE Tempo, GE Maxima CT, and AMX equipment
• Strong patient communication, positioning skills, and infection control practices
• Ability to multitask in a busy ED environment and prioritize time-sensitive studies
