Shift Type: Rotating nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM; 3 shifts per week (12-hour nights) with every-other-weekend commitment (night shift)

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Monitor telemetry and cardiac rhythms to identify changes early and intervene promptly
- Manage ventilators and BiPAP settings and provide safe ventilator care
- Administer and titrate IV drips/infusions while monitoring patient responses
- Perform chest tube and central line care with precision and infection prevention
- Respond to emergency intubations and stabilize patients during critical events
- Document all patient care accurately using Meditech and support clear handoffs
- Deliver bedside shift reporting and use AIDET communication to enhance patient experience
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient-centered care plans
- Float to other areas as required per CBA, stepping in where the team needs you most
Qualifications
- Active RN license (eligible to work in Nevada or compact license as applicable)
- Minimum 2 years of PCU/IMC or similar critical care nursing experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
- Hands-on experience with ventilator management and vasoactive drips/infusions
- Comfortable with telemetry monitoring and managing moderate-to-high acuity patients
- Experience with Meditech or similar electronic documentation systems is a plus
- Ability to work nights and meet every-other-weekend scheduling commitments
Education
- Active RN licensure required
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong telemetry interpretation and cardiac rhythm recognition
- Ventilator management and respiratory support skills
- Competence in IV therapy, infusion titration, and vasoactive medication management
- Familiarity with chest tube and central line care
- Skill in emergency airway management and crisis resource management
- Proficient clinical documentation and effective bedside communication
- Team-oriented approach and the flexibility to float when needed
