Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess and triage patients quickly and accurately in a busy emergency setting
• Stabilize and manage acute medical and trauma presentations with confidence
• Administer medications and treatments following evidence-based protocols
• Document patient care thoroughly using Meditech to ensure continuity and safety
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers and the care team to deliver timely care
• Provide clear patient and family education to support understanding and discharge planning
• Use critical thinking to prioritize care and adapt to changing patient needs

Qualifications

• Current RN license (active and in good standing)
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) clinical experience
• ACLS and BLS required; PALS and/or ENPC or TNCC required as listed
• Comfortable using Meditech or similar EMR systems
• Strong independent clinical judgment, adaptability and excellent communication skills
• Certifications such as CEN, CPEN or TCRN are a plus

Knowledge & Skills

• Emergency nursing assessment and triage skills
• Trauma and acute care management
• Proficiency with Meditech electronic medical record
• Excellent critical thinking and prioritization under pressure
• Strong interpersonal skills for patient- and team-focused care
• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
