Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population
• Rapidly assess, triage and prioritize patients to ensure timely, life-saving interventions
• Stabilize critical patients and initiate appropriate urgent treatments and protocols
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers and the interdisciplinary team to drive patient-centered outcomes
• Document care accurately in Meditech and communicate clear handoffs at shift change
• Participate in unit processes to support smooth patient flow and a positive patient experience
• Serve as an independent, critical thinker who adapts quickly during high-acuity situations

Qualifications

• Current RN license (active and appropriate for practice in New Hampshire or compact license where applicable)
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience (required)
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications; PALS and/or ENPC or TNCC as indicated
• Experience with Meditech or similar EMR preferred
• Ability to float to Portsmouth ED and Seabrook ED as needed
• Strong critical thinking, autonomy and excellent communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Emergency triage and rapid assessment skills
• Acute patient stabilization and emergency procedures
• Proficiency with Meditech electronic medical record documentation
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently
• Effective communication and teamwork in high-pressure settings
• Comfort managing variable patient ratios in a fast-paced FSED/ED environment

This travel assignment places you in the Seacoast region of New Hampshire, a great base for work and play.
