Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate bedside care and support to residents, treating each person with dignity
• Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing and mobility
• Monitor and accurately record vital signs, intake and output, and other clinical observations
• Communicate changes in resident condition promptly to the nursing team and document clearly
• Maintain a safe, clean and respectful environment for residents and families
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to implement individualized care plans
• Participate in training, mandatory education and quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
• Active CNA in Pennsylvania or eligible to obtain state certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
• Comfortable performing physical tasks associated with resident care and lifting assistance
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Aide/CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in assisting with activities of daily living and personal care
• Knowledge of infection control and standard precautions
• Ability to accurately take and document vital signs and observations
• Basic documentation skills and familiarity with electronic charting or paper records
• Strong interpersonal skills for compassionate resident and family interactions
• Time management and prioritization in a fast paced care setting
