Location: Gettysburg, Pennsylvania
Shift Type: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC (night shift); days to be confirmed with facility
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $23 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct care to residents, including bathing, grooming, toileting, and dressing
- Assist with safe transfers and ambulation, using proper body mechanics and equipment
- Monitor residents’ conditions and promptly report changes to the nursing team
- Document care accurately and timely in resident charts and electronic records
- Support mealtime assistance, feeding, and hydration needs
- Promote a clean, safe environment by following infection control and safety protocols
- Engage residents with meaningful conversation and activities to support dignity and quality of life
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
- Active CNA certification in Pennsylvania or ability to obtain state certification prior to start
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Ability to pass background and health screenings as required by the facility
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred but new graduates encouraged to apply
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Basic patient care techniques and ADL assistance
- Knowledge of infection control practices and PPE use
- Safe lifting and transfer techniques
- Accurate documentation and charting skills
- Ability to follow care plans and communicate observations to nurses
- Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
