Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on care and assist patients with activities of daily living
• Perform vital signs, basic charting, and timely documentation to support the care team
• Support safe transfers and mobility, prioritizing patient dignity and comfort
• Communicate clearly with nurses and providers to escalate changes in condition
• Maintain infection control standards and a clean, safe patient environment
• Build trusting relationships with patients and families to enhance the care experience

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant) — state certification required or eligible to transfer
• Current BLS/CPR or willingness to obtain prior to start
• Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
• Comfortable with direct patient care, lifting/transfer techniques, and bedside assistance
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude; previous patient care experience a plus

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completion of an accredited CNA program and current certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of patient safety, fall prevention, and infection control
• Skilled in basic patient care: bathing, feeding, toileting, and mobility assistance
• Comfort with basic charting and following care plans
• Ability to observe, report, and document changes in patient condition
• Teamwork, reliability, and good time management on busy shifts
