Location: Middletown, RI
Shift Type: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC (night shift; specific days to be confirmed)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $23 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting) with compassion and dignity
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team promptly
- Support safe patient transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics
- Provide attentive bedside care and emotional support to patients and families
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in patient records
- Follow infection control and safety protocols to keep everyone healthy
- Collaborate with nurses and other care team members to deliver coordinated care
- Help with admissions, discharges, and smooth transitions of care
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification (required)
- Active CNA registration/license in Rhode Island (required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Compassionate bedside manner and strong communication skills
- Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred but new CNAs are encouraged to apply
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Completed accredited CNA program and current certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Hands-on patient care and ADL assistance
- Basic vital signs and observation skills
- Infection control and safe patient handling
- Clear, professional documentation and communication
- Teamwork, time management, and adaptability in a fast-paced care setting
- Comfort working independently on night shift while escalating concerns appropriately
