Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform general X-ray examinations across ED, inpatient and OR settings with accuracy and compassion
• Operate and manage C-arm equipment during ortho and spine procedures in the operating room
• Provide portable radiography coverage and support trauma imaging when needed
• Document imaging studies and patient care in Epic and ensure timely upload to Fuji PACS
• Collaborate with radiologists, PAs and the care team to deliver high-quality imaging and patient safety
• Maintain equipment readiness, assist with equipment orientation and follow departmental protocols
• Manage a steady workflow of roughly 20-30 studies per day while maintaining attention to detail
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies while delivering patient-centered care

Qualifications

• ARRT certification (required)
• BLS (AHA) certification (required)
• Minimum 2 years of radiologic technologist experience
• Proven ability to operate C-arm in OR settings and support orthopedic/spine procedures
• Comfortable with portable radiography and fluoro equipment
• Familiarity with Epic charting and Fuji PACS workflow
• Preferred experience in Level 1 Trauma environments
• Availability for weekend and holiday shifts as scheduled
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to meet the 60-mile radius requirement; agency Rad Tech badge required (facility does not provide)

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program or equivalent
• ARRT certification required
• BLS (AHA) required

Knowledge & Skills

• General X-ray radiography and fluoro fundamentals
• C-arm operation in the operating room
• Epic electronic medical record charting
• Fuji PACS image management
• Experience with GE C-arms, Carestream and Shimadzu portable units
• Ability to manage high-volume imaging days and prioritize urgent studies
• Strong communication and teamwork skills in acute care settings
• Familiarity with trauma protocols and OR workflow
