Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (Day shifts: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM and commonly 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM for some rotations; Night shifts: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM). Typical posted schedule includes Sun, Mon, Tue 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM. Weekend coverage required about 1 weekend per month. Shift type: rotating day/night.

Candidate Pay Rate: $77 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality CT scans and radiographic imaging for emergency department patients
- Position patients and operate CT equipment with attention to safety and image accuracy
- Collaborate with emergency clinicians to prioritize and expedite imaging for acute cases
- Maintain clear, timely documentation in the EMR and communicate critical findings appropriately
- Ensure infection control and patient safety protocols are followed at all times
- Participate in unit-specific orientation and ongoing training to stay current with protocols
Qualifications
- ARRT certification in Computed Tomography or CRT certification (required)
- Minimum 2 years of CT experience as listed for this role
- BLS certification (required)
- COVID-19 vaccination as required by the facility
- Comfortable working in an emergency department setting with all types of patients
- Ability to work 12-hour day and night rotations and cover approximately one weekend per month
- Familiarity with T-systems or similar EMR charting is a plus
Education
- ARRT/CRT certification required
- BLS certification required
- BSN not required
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of CT imaging protocols and cross-sectional anatomy
- Proficient in patient positioning and radiation safety principles
- Skilled at managing trauma and emergency imaging priorities
- Able to document accurately and communicate effectively with clinical teams
- Basic troubleshooting of CT equipment and adherence to QA procedures
- Compassionate patient care and the ability to work calmly under pressure
