Typical posted schedule includes Sun, Mon, Tue 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM. Weekend coverage required about 1 weekend per month. Shift type: rotating day/night.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT scans and radiographic imaging for emergency department patients
• Position patients and operate CT equipment with attention to safety and image accuracy
• Collaborate with emergency clinicians to prioritize and expedite imaging for acute cases
• Maintain clear, timely documentation in the EMR and communicate critical findings appropriately
• Ensure infection control and patient safety protocols are followed at all times
• Participate in unit-specific orientation and ongoing training to stay current with protocols

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Computed Tomography or CRT certification (required)
• Minimum 2 years of CT experience as listed for this role
• BLS certification (required)
• COVID-19 vaccination as required by the facility
• Comfortable working in an emergency department setting with all types of patients
• Ability to work 12-hour day and night rotations and cover approximately one weekend per month
• Familiarity with T-systems or similar EMR charting is a plus

Education

• ARRT/CRT certification required
• BLS certification required
• BSN not required

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of CT imaging protocols and cross-sectional anatomy
• Proficient in patient positioning and radiation safety principles
• Skilled at managing trauma and emergency imaging priorities
• Able to document accurately and communicate effectively with clinical teams
• Basic troubleshooting of CT equipment and adherence to QA procedures
• Compassionate patient care and the ability to work calmly under pressure
