Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care and support to residents with dignity
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting)
- Safely support mobility and transfers using proper techniques
- Monitor and report changes in resident condition to the nursing team
- Accurately document care, observations, and resident responses
- Communicate clearly and kindly with residents, families, and teammates
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
Qualifications
- Current GNA classification/certification (as listed in job class)
- State-appropriate nursing assistant credentials or eligibility
- Ability to work the 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM shift reliably
- Demonstrated compassion, strong communication, and teamwork
- Ability to pass required background and health screenings
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- GNA/CNA certification or equivalent required
Knowledge & Skills
- Resident-focused care and respect for individual preferences
- Basic knowledge of activities of daily living and routines
- Comfort with observing and reporting changes in condition
- Clear documentation and time-management skills
- Teamwork and effective communication with clinical staff
