Location: Silver Spring, MD
Shift Type: Night shift, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM (specific days not specified)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care and support to residents with dignity and respect
- Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility
- Monitor resident condition and promptly report changes to the nursing team
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care and resident observations
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents
- Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to support individualized care plans
Qualifications
- Current GNA (Geriatric Nursing Assistant) certification required
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Comfortable working night shift hours (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to care
- Willingness to comply with facility requirements (background check, immunizations, etc.)
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent; GNA certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Understanding of geriatric care needs and dignity-centered support
- Basic patient handling and safe transfer techniques
- Reliable observation skills for reporting changes in condition
- Ability to document care accurately and follow care plans
- Teamwork mindset and positive communication with residents and staff
