Shift Type: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Evening shift; days not specified)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, person-centered care to geriatric residents, treating each person with dignity
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming)
- Monitor and record vital signs and changes in condition accurately and promptly
- Support safe transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics and lift techniques
- Maintain a clean, safe and comfortable environment for residents
- Communicate clearly with nurses, family members, and the interdisciplinary care team
- Document care and observations thoroughly in the resident record
- Report any changes in a resident’s condition promptly to clinical staff
Qualifications
- Current GNA certification (required)
- State certification/registration as applicable for Maryland
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Comfort and ability to work the evening shift (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM)
- Strong communication skills and a heart for working with older adults
- Ability to pass background check and meet facility health requirements
Education
- High school diploma or GED required
- Completion of an accredited GNA program preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Geriatric care and compassion-focused approach
- Assistance with ADLs and personal care
- Safe resident transfers and mobility support
- Basic vital sign measurement and observation skills
- Accurate documentation and attention to detail
- Infection control and safe hygiene practices
- Teamwork and clear communication with clinical staff and families
