Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess perioperative patients and develop individualized care plans that support safe surgical outcomes
• Perform OR circulating duties with attention to aseptic technique, patient safety, and efficient flow
• Provide PACU coverage and after-hours post-anesthesia care for pediatric and adult patients
• Support the surgical team by anticipating needs, preparing equipment, and coordinating care
• Document patient status, interventions, and handoffs clearly and professionally
• Participate in on-call rotations to ensure seamless care continuity for urgent surgical needs
• Collaborate with colleagues across departments to promote a positive patient experience

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience (perioperative/OR experience preferred)
• Current Montana RN license or compact state license
• Current ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications
• Comfortable with pediatric and adult perioperative care and on-call responsibilities

Knowledge & Skills

• Perioperative care and OR circulating best practices
• PACU care and post-anesthesia monitoring
• Pediatric and adult patient assessment and monitoring
• Pre-op and post-op patient education and support
• Strong clinical judgment, clear communication, and teamwork
• Familiarity with surgical instrumentation and sterile technique
