Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM (Day); 5-7 days of call per scheduling period, including one weekend
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain a sterile field and ensure all instruments and supplies are ready for each procedure
- Assist surgeons and the perioperative team during a variety of operative cases
- Perform counts, document procedural details, and help ensure patient safety throughout perioperative care
- Collaborate with nurses and providers to coordinate patient flow and efficient OR turnover
- Contribute to a fast-paced, high-quality surgical environment while supporting the needs of a small community hospital
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred
- Two years of previous Operating Room experience preferred
- Comfortable participating in a call rotation with occasional weekend coverage
- Able to work in a supportive, fast-paced surgical department at a critical access hospital
Education
- Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Familiarity with Operating Room procedures and perioperative workflow
- Strong sterile technique and instrument handling
- Team-oriented communication and the ability to collaborate under pressure
- Adaptability in a fast-paced, close-knit hospital setting
