Roles & Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualized patient care
• Administer medications and treatments safely and in line with state laws and facility policies
• Document patient care thoroughly and accurately following standards of care
• Develop and execute patient care plans in collaboration with physicians and the interdisciplinary team
• Provide patient and family education to support recovery and long-term well-being
• Collaborate across departments and float to other inpatient units as census requires
• Participate in shared governance and unit performance improvement initiatives
• Apply critical thinking for patient safety, escalate concerns appropriately, and advocate for excellent patient experience

Qualifications

• Current Wisconsin RN license (required)
• Current Illinois RN license (required) — travel between WI and IL sites expected
• Current CPR certification (required)
• Experienced RN with a background in skilled nursing or sub-acute care (no minimum years specified)
• Comfortable floating between units and adapting to changing patient census
• Willingness to work a rotating schedule including weekends
