Shift Type: Rotating day shifts with schedule options: 4x10s (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM or 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM) or 5x8s (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM). Weekend call every 5th-7th weekend and one weeknight call per week; varied/rotating.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons and the circulator in delivering safe, efficient surgical care — your hands keep the procedure flowing
• Prepare and maintain a sterile operating room environment using expert sterile technique
• Circulate as needed to support the team, anticipate needs, and prioritize patient safety
• Perform surgical assist duties and instrument handling with precision and focus
• Participate in on-call rotations to ensure continuous, high-quality perioperative coverage
• Adhere to all state and federal regulations and facility policies to maintain compliance and patient trust

Qualifications

• Current Surgical Technologist certification or active Registered Nurse (RN) license (title includes both Surgical Tech and RN pathways)
• Prior perioperative or operating room experience, comfortable assisting and circulating in the OR
• Strong knowledge of sterile technique and surgical instrumentation
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotation including weekend and weeknight coverage
• Professional communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with surgeons, nurses, and OR staff

• Patient care and perioperative nursing practices
• Surgical assist techniques and operating room circulation
• Strict sterile technique and infection control
• Familiarity with OR workflows, instrumentation, and supplies
• Regulatory compliance in a surgical setting
