Roles & Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry and act promptly on changes in rhythm
• Provide high-quality nursing care to a diverse medical and cardiac patient population
• Administer medications and treatments safely and document care using Meditech
• Respond to codes and clinical emergencies with confidence and teamwork
• Coordinate patient care with multidisciplinary teams and support smooth transitions
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and discharge plans
• Flexibly float to inpatient Med/Tele and Rehab units as patient needs require

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted RN license (state licensure required for assignment)
• BLS certification (required)
• ACLS certification (required)
• Minimum 2 years of strong telemetry nursing experience (explicit requirement)
• Chemo Certification is a nice-to-have (may allow scheduling on Oncology unit)
• Comfort with floating between units, strong teamwork, and compassionate bedside manner

Knowledge & Skills

• Proven telemetry and cardiac monitoring skills
• Experience with Meditech EMR for charting and documentation
• Skilled in medication administration, IV therapy, and common inpatient procedures
• Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
• Strong communication and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
• Adaptability to different units and patient populations
