Shift Type: Rotating nights including weekends, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (Night shift)
Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Triage and assess patients rapidly to prioritize lifesaving care
- Provide direct patient care including medication administration and monitoring
- Perform and assist with emergency procedures such as intubation, lumbar puncture, TNK administration, laceration repair and splinting
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently in Meditech EMR
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient flow and disposition
- Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments and follow-up plans
- Maintain patient safety and a therapeutic environment in a fast-paced emergency setting
Qualifications
- Current RN license (ability to obtain Texas licensure required for the assignment)
- TNCC and ENPC — must have by start date
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of recent emergency nursing experience (greater than 2 years preferred)
- Experience with Meditech or similar EMR highly desirable
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking and teamwork skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in emergency nursing workflows and triage principles
- Skilled in airway management and basic/advanced emergency procedures (intubation, LPs)
- Proficient with Meditech EMR documentation and order entry
- Comfortable with wound care, suturing/laceration repair and splinting
- Ability to manage a 4:1 patient ratio while maintaining high-quality care
- Calm under pressure, excellent communication and patient advocacy
