Shift Type: Varies, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Day shift; schedule flexibility required — may include evenings and on-call coverage)

Candidate Pay Rate: $39 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms, instruments, and sterile fields to support safe surgeries
- Assist the surgical team throughout orthopedic and joint procedures with focus and precision
- Maintain strict sterile technique and ensure surgical counts are accurate
- Document procedures and patient information using Meditech EMR clearly and promptly
- Anticipate surgeon needs and proactively problem-solve in fast-paced OR environments
- Participate in on-call coverage and adapt to changing schedules with professionalism
- Collaborate as a team player with high accountability to deliver excellent patient care
Qualifications
- CST/ORT credential (Certified Surgical Technologist or OR Tech)
- NBSTA certification required
- DORA certification required
- Minimum 2 years of operating room experience (Ortho/Joint experience required)
- Experience with Meditech EMR preferred
- Flexibility to work day/evening shifts and participate in call rotations
- Strong self-direction, teamwork, and high level of accountability
Knowledge & Skills
- Operating Room best practices and sterile technique
- Orthopedics and joint surgery workflows
- Trauma/Level I experience is a plus
- Meditech EMR navigation and documentation
- Instrument and supply management for a busy OR
- Effective communication, teamwork, and clinical accountability
