Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, promoting dignity and comfort
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, mobility, and feeding
- Monitor and report changes in residents’ conditions to the nursing team promptly
- Document care accurately and thoroughly in facility records
- Support safe transfers and use proper body mechanics to protect residents and yourself
- Engage residents in meaningful conversation and activities to support emotional well-being
- Follow infection control policies and facility procedures to maintain a safe environment
Qualifications
- Current GNA / Geriatric Nursing Assistant certification (required)
- CPR/BLS certification preferred or obtained soon after hire
- Comfortable working with older adults and assisting with activities of daily living
- Successful completion of background check and facility-required health screenings
- Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- GNA / Geriatric Nursing Assistant certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Basic patient care and hygiene practices with attention to safety
- Vital signs measurement and recognition of changes in condition
- Accurate documentation and charting skills
- Empathy, patience, and excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow care plans and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
