Shift Type: Days vary (to be confirmed), 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM Evening (2nd) shift
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, resident-centered care to older adults with dignity and respect
- Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility
- Monitor, record, and report changes in residents' conditions and vital signs
- Support implementation of individualized care plans in collaboration with the nursing team
- Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents at all times
- Respond promptly to resident needs and call lights, prioritizing safety and comfort
- Communicate clearly with residents, families, and colleagues to promote coordinated care
Qualifications
- Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification required
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Ability to pass required background and health screenings
- Compassionate attitude with strong communication and teamwork skills
- Previous experience caring for older adults is a plus but caring heart matters most
Education
- GNA certification required
- High school diploma or GED preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong understanding of ADLs and resident-centered care
- Basic vital signs measurement and documentation
- Infection control and safe hygiene practices
- Safe transfer and mobility assistance techniques
- Accurate charting and effective communication with care team
- Ability to manage time and prioritize resident needs in a busy setting
