Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered emergency nursing care in a 28-bed ER with trauma bays
• Perform cardiac monitoring and rapid assessment for patients in acute distress
• Manage trauma patients efficiently in a fast-paced, high-turnover environment
• Provide compassionate care and de-escalation for behavioral health patients in designated rooms
• Collaborate closely with physicians, techs, and allied staff to ensure smooth patient flow
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and timely
• Participate in orientation and ongoing training to maintain competency in emergency protocols

Qualifications

• Active Hawaii RN license required by start of assignment
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure and clinical experience in Emergency Nursing
• Experience or comfort with trauma care and cardiac monitoring in emergency settings
• Experience caring for behavioral health patients in an ER is highly valued
• Ability to work night shift schedule of 12-hour shifts, team-oriented mindset
