Shift Type: Monday-Friday, variable days (day shifts), 40 hours/week — typical patient load ~8/day Monday-Thursday and ~6 on Friday

Candidate Pay Rate: $65 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide thorough patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver hands-on manual therapy and therapeutic exercise to achieve functional goals
- Manage post-operative care, joint replacement rehab, and musculoskeletal conditions
- Treat balance, gait and vestibular/vertigo issues and implement fall-prevention strategies
- Collaborate with PTAs and interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
- Document care accurately in the EMR (CPSI experience highly preferred) and comply with facility onboarding requirements
- Communicate clearly with patients and families to educate and motivate toward recovery
Qualifications
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) — required
- Minimum 2 years of current PT experience (new grads will not be considered)
- Active Vermont PT license in hand at profile upload (facility will not pend)
- New Hampshire PT license or participation in the PT compact (must upload with profile)
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification (required)
- Previous outpatient rehabilitation experience required; previous travel experience strongly preferred
- Reliable personal vehicle (this is a small community without public transport)
- Ability to work inpatient PT as needed and treat the full spectrum of outpatient diagnoses
Education
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program — required
- Graduated from an accredited school of Physical Therapy
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in patient evaluations and developing targeted treatment plans
- Manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercise prescription
- Outpatient PT workflow including post-operative care and joint replacement rehab
- Balance, gait training, and fall-prevention strategies
- Experience with pulmonary rehabilitation and pelvic floor therapy (preferred)
- Comfort collaborating with PTAs and multi-disciplinary teams
- Familiarity with CPSI EMR is highly preferred
- Ability to manage a typical daily caseload (~6–8 patients) efficiently while maintaining quality
